Full Job Description

Senior Software Engineer (C++) – Permanent

Responsibilities:
Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
Master the core application and its features
Adapt to the existing code base and be able to own and develop new or existing components
Identify bottlenecks in the system and improve performance
Debug and fix issues with complex multi-threaded implementations

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related fields from a top tier university
Masters/PhD in a relevant field will be preferred

Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Standard Template Library (STL)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in application development
Good understanding of memory management
Good knowledge and experience of working in multi-threaded systems
Excellent debugging skills, especially with multi-threaded systems
Able to work well in a team and practice effective communications
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced development environment

Additional Skills:
Experience with:
QT/ Boost
Code versioning tool like SVN and Git
CUDA or OpenCL programming
SQL database
FFMPEG and other open source codec libraries
Demonstrate experience on codecs, video streaming, or media processing systems
Code development experience across Mac, Windows, and Linux platforms
